12V/24V 240A Car Battery Kill Switch

Copper in blue and gold, the car battery disconnect switch measures 3.351.382.36 inches and weighs 15.56 ounces. Included in the package are one cut-off switch and two remote controllers. Rated for 240A at 12V-24V, this push-button actuator offers a temperature control range of 60° and a remote control range of 328 feet.

Compatibility-wise, this switch is suitable for most car models, but not for vehicles that cannot be disconnected to change batteries or those without a spare mechanical key. If the power goes out, the alarm will sound.

The installation process involves removing the negative wire and connecting it to the disconnector, followed by connecting the positive wire and moving the negative wire to the disconnector head. Finally, the screws are locked to complete the setup.

The convenience of this battery disconnector lies in its remote control capabilities, which save time considerably. Moreover, the installation does not require modifying the original car wiring, allowing for easy restoration if needed. The device is also insulated and heat-resistant, ensuring safe usage even in the presence of battery liquid.

The automatic disconnection feature kicks in when the voltage drops below 11.9V, signaling a leakage detection and triggering the switch to cut off power. The work indicator light changes from blue to red, and the system delays for about 5 minutes before the automatic cut-off, preventing the battery from being damaged and unable to start the vehicle.

To prevent accidental switch-off while the vehicle is in motion, this device includes a function that prohibits the remote control's OFF button, as well as the panel OFF and mobile phone power-off key, from being pressed when the ignition is turned on.

Finally, the leakage checking feature automatically activates when the vehicle is switched off. Users can simply turn off the headlights, indicator lights, and doors to view the leakage status. The light indicator provides a visual cue, with low, medium, and high levels corresponding to leakage within the 0.5-2A, 2-5A, and above 5A ranges, respectively.
